Often trying to find a quality website means trawling the search engines before clicking and hoping … at the end of the day, while search engines have proven more and more adept at siphoning out the good from the bad, often you will still have trouble finding a good quality site. Spammers and sites designed only to attract the search engines still fill many results pages.

While a full human edited search engine is the stuff of dreams, we wanted to offer a simple way to find a good weather site, news site or property site … so we’ve trawled the web ourselves and picked out the finest sites we could find before picking just one in a category. One site rule them all!

This isn’t a static site though, sites can be rated and those that start to underperform will be removed and a new site put in its place. Also, if you know of a competing site then please let us know … we’ll post a head to head battle right here on our homepage. Votes will be counted and after a short time, the winner will be revealed and the loser removed for good!
